Spray Schedule

The Toledo Area Sanitary District controls adult mosquitoes by daytime "misting" and by evening "fogging" operations. Schools, business and homeowners may have their properties misted by requesting this service at 419-726-7891. These properties must have an access so that a pickup truck may drive around the periphery of farmyards, wooded areas and buildings.

Our evening fogging trucks are equipped with ultra low volume (ULV) equipment. Spraying starts in the western part of the country and proceeds eastward on a scheduled basis. Accurate records are kept so that all areas in Lucas County receive treatment and are not oversprayed. Please remember that all mosquito spraying is weather dependent. If you have concerns or questions about mosquito control, please call our office at 419-726-7891.

Evening fogging schedules are e-mailed to television news media each morning: Fox 36, WNWO 24, WTVG 13, and WTOL 11.
